If you are looking to offer your clients a diverse range of exclusive treatments then look no further. Essencia Health and Beauty Clinic training workshops are available for qualified therapists holding a recognised Body Massage and Anatomy qualification. Tracey Sargeant and Karen Coulter head up our training team and bring a wealth of experience to our selection of training courses.

The courses are run at The Old Chapel in Fobbing or alternatively we can provide on-site training at an additional cost, upon request. All prices are per person per day.

Lomi Lomi Hawaiian Massage

Lomi Lomi is a Hawaiian massage, also known as the “loving hands” massage. This name helps to explain its principles - the massage works gently, yet deeply into the muscles utilising continuous flowing strokes, allowing your client to relax and give in to your nurturing touch. Lomi Lomi works from “the belief that memories are not just stored in the brain and mind, but also in every cell of the human body”. The long continuous strokes of the massage, are designed to help the body let go of its old patterns and behaviours, which can cause as many stresses and strains as muscle tension. “Lomi Lomi” translates to “Rub Rub” in Hawaiian, reflecting the broad flowing strokes made with the therapist’s fingers, thumbs, palms, arms and elbows.

Thai Body Massage

The aim of the Thai Body Massage is to focus on the whole body holistically, physically and mentally, bringing emotional harmony using pressure points and stretching and twisting techniques to open the Zen (energy) lines. Practiced for over 5000 years the Thai massage uses techniques developed from China, Japan and Korea. This treatment incorporates the whole body, including face and scalp.
